If your range of motion has been quietly shrinking as weight increased, restoring full range at the same weight is itself progressive overload, and often uncovers weaknesses that were being masked by shortened reps.
Method 6: More Difficult Variation
When you’ve maxed out a reasonable rep range on an exercise, especially bodyweight movements, switching to a harder variation resets your progression at a lower, more challenging rep count.
